                                                   CLASS DESCRIPTION

Baby Aquatics:        ages 4-36 months.

 the goal of the class is to develop  an understanding of the aquatic environment.     Through play the young child learns beginning  swimming skills.

 

Beginner classes: Turtles-Beg I: Students will learn to overcome  fear,submersion & breathing control

 Minnows-Beg II: Students work on bobbing,prone glide, and back floats.        

Goldfish-adv beg I: Students will learn the flutterkick with their prone & back glide, plus rhythmic breathing. 

 Angel fish-Adv Beg II (shallow): Students will develop rhythmic breathing with arms and dives.

 Sting Rays-Adv Beg II (deep): Students will adventure into  the deep to continue their freestyle and backstroke.   

 Dolphins- Intermediate I: Students will learn the dolphin kick and butterfly.

Sharks- Intermediate II: Students will learn the breast stroke and tread water for 1 minute.

*Advance - Students are recommended to privates or swim team for  technical instructions on   strokes, racing dives, and flip turns.
